Janine Boshoff

Janine is an Economist in the Public Policy team at NIESR, where her research focuses on the impact of interventions delivered across the educational trajectory.

Research Interests

Janine’s research interests are related to education, and its impact on young people’s transition from school to employment, training, and further/higher education. She has experience using linked administrative data to produce insights into how academic achievement impacts a young person’s chances of acquiring higher or vocational qualifications, and their success in entering the labour market. Janine also contributes to impact evaluations of RCTs testing efficacy and effectiveness of education interventions targeting language, literacy, and numeracy.
