A half-day symposium to discuss the findings from a major new research study of management practices and job quality in Britain and France.
The study uses linked employer-employee data from the British Workplace Employment Relations Survey (WERS) and the French Enquête Relations Professionnelles et Négociations d’Entreprise (REPONSE) to provide a comprehensive analysis of private sector employment relations in these two very different employment regimes. The findings will be of interest to anyone considering Britain’s new relationship with Europe and to practitioners and policy-makers seeking to identify and promote “best practice”.
