Spring 2024 Members’ Roundtable

We are delighted to be hosting our Spring 2024 Members' Roundtable. The Roundtable represents an opportunity for our Members to have an in-depth insight into our quarterly UK and Global Outlooks ahead of general dissemination, and to discuss the findings with our researchers.

With an election getting ever closer, NIESR’s Spring Quarterly Outlook will provide a closer look into the year's Economic prospects.  How will the economy rebound after the recession in 2023?  What will be the impact of the budget?  With inflation under control, when might we start seeing interest rate cuts?  And what will be the impact of the Bernanke Review on the Bank of England’s forecasting process? Globally, when will Central Banks start cutting interest rates? What might be the impact of rising tensions in the Middle East?  Our Quarterly Roundtable will provide ample opportunity for attendees to exchange thoughts and views on the outlook as we mover further into 2024.
